Series 2: The Addition of Dress-makers
tissue pattern paper.
While visiting the Textile Museum of Toronto www.info@textilemuseum.ca I was given recycled dress-maker’s pattern tissue to wrap my purchases. Not one to toss a reusable item I brought the tissue home with me and repurposed it- yet again. Little had I known how much I would enjoy the tawny color, black inked lines and arrows and versatility of the paper’s fiber. I now have collected cases of the tissue which I manipulate to encase and dress my sculptures.
